Trinity's Thrift Shop is open every Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We have a wonderful team of volunteers. Would you like to be one? Or, just drop by and join us for lunch!
The shop has specialty racks now in addition to other great merchandise including evening wear and handsome men's attire. We are in the business of raising money to help Trinity and helping the less fortunate. It's fun!
Bless you all, and thank you! The Thrift Shop
Thrift Shop Annual Report 2015
2015 was a very good year for the Thrift Shop. We continue to receive an abundance of donations. Thank you to everyone for your generosity. Your continued support is what keeps the Thrift Shop going so well. The Thrift Shop provides a valuable outreach service to the community at a very reasonable cost.
Due to the record breaking snow and ice storms we had in February and March the Thrift Shop had major damage to the ceiling and floor. Servicemaster Techs were hired to remove the asbestos tile floor. The Thrift Shop was closed for three weeks in May. We are blessed to have a good Insurance Policy, without the insurance money I don’t know what we would have done.
Everyone is always welcome to visit us and see all the major improvements that have been accomplished during the past year: new floor, new paint through out and a new kitchen. If you haven’t been in recently please take time to visit. We just love our new space!
City Wide Yard Sale—The Thrift Shop was able to participate this year. Jane Cash was a major organizer, getting many people to help the day of the yard sale. We were able to make $500.00 for our shop. We donated $250.00 to the Church Scholarship Fund. Thank you for all of your help.
Trinity Church Holly Fair—We were able to be open both days. Thank you very much for all of Jane Cash’s efforts. I was able to get Carolyn & Beth to come and work with Jane. The Thrift Shop made $700.00 for the Trinity Church Holly Fair. Thank you to everyone.
We continue our outreach donations of clothing, household items, shoes, toys etc. to the Big Brother/Big Sister organization, Veterans Hospital and Vietnam Veterans.
Bag Sales—Our customers always enjoy Bag Sale Day.
Volunteers—Thank you to everyone who come and give their time. We could not have the successful Thrift Shop we have without you. Special thanks to: Carolyn Andrews, Jane Cash, Priscilla Cudoni, Bill Finn, Jane Foley, Shiela Foley, Mabel Harrison, Pam & Dennny Kilbride, Jayne Lee, Nancy Matthews, Laura Morrow, Sharon Pacheco & Peg Reilly. With God’s help and your continued support we will be able to keep the Thrift Shop going forward into another year.
